Last time we posted an article about the L5 Convention in Blackpool
organized by the Starfury, only Jennifer Beals was announced as
a guest and for most fans it was enough. The Gold Tickets that allow
their holders to attend Meet&Greet, were sold in the first 48
hours but there are still regular tickets left and if you didn’t
get yours yet, go and do it now. And here’s the reason WHY.
Two other main cast members, Laurel Holloman and Rachel Shelley
will join Jennifer Beals in Blackpool on November 14-16. In my humble
opinion, this is going to be one of the most exciting conventions
I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to them all). And I’m
pretty sure it will be a very special Convention for many fans,
especially for TiBette and Heletina fans…oh, wait…and
for the fantasy BeLena couple fans as well. Wow, imagine all the
excitement and fun and all the juicy questions you can ask during
Q&A sessions. I certainly can’t wait!
As a wonderful bonus, Anne Ramsay who played Jenny’s girlfriend,
Robin, will join the cast members at the Convention once again.
Some of you might think that there’s nothing new to ask her
because Anne was only in the few episodes of The L Word. Think again.
Not only she was a reoccurring guest star on many popular TV shows,
like Mad About You, Six Feet Under and CSI, Anne also starred in
a lot of movies and she even kissed Madonna while filming a movie
together. How cool is that? Anne is also very intelligent and funny
and it is a delight to have her again as a guest at the L5 Convention.
And if this is not enough, Adrienne Wilkinson will be a Master
of Ceremonies again, just like before and I know she will do a wonderful
job. Her most memorable role up to date is Eve/Livia, daughter of
Xena on a very popular TV series Xena: Warrior Princess and she
has plenty of stories to tell.
And if this is not enough for some of you, you still should by
a ticket because there are always unexpected surprises
